I prostrate before thee, the god of gods

 

ganapati mati varadam

The lord of ganas, the one who gives boons

 

varadandi mukham su mukham

The one with ornamented face, handsome

 

saadar mein kar dam am

I respectfully prostrate before you

 

garatham vipa dhuda gautam

Save me from the fearful tragedy

 

gautamalam shamalam

Control deep impurities

 

shamalam vitha mapi dhagatam

Remover of obstacles, the lord of wealth

 

hata paapi shamalam

Lift me up from the forgone sins

 

karuna runa ruchiram

The compassionate one, the one who has excess taste

 

karunam shree kaantam

Kindhearted, the husband of Shree

 

kaantam kalitaye kaantam

Glorifying and  ultimately shining

 

kalaye sudhu rantam

The abode of arts and immortally shining

 

karua varuna laya sharanam

Save me the ocean of generosity

 

biji taranam sharanam

For crossing the land of sins

 

karna varuna laya sharanam

Save me the one who is the soothing sound for the ears

 

yaamoya midam sharanam

You are the only refuge
